Tree Pattern

Have been thinking I need to look at nature in a different way. The flow artists Ive been watching on you tube make things look simple, and pay attention to the contrasts of color and design. This tree is not just a tree but a rich pattern is in the bark. I think my new paintings could be better. Thank you Molly! Its been a long long time since I was an artist in my 20s. I am excited that people are viewing paintings again. I am trying to keep up with the times.
